Florida-raised and rooted in Caribbean lineage, Bianca "JustBee" Russell creates immersive work across music, movement, film, literature, and visual storytelling.
Biography
Bianca "JustBee" Russell is a multidisciplinary neo-soul artist, songwriter, dancer, choreographer, and educator whose work explores love, grief, Black spirituality, memory, sensuality, and emotional becoming.
With nearly three decades of dance training and more than fifteen years developing The Like Water Project, her artistic universe merges West African and Caribbean movement traditions, lyric-centered storytelling, live performance, film composition, and visual art into a singular cinematic language.
Based in Las Vegas and originally from Florida, she is co-founder of Y Not Me, a youth-centered arts organization dedicated to expanding creative pathways through music, dance, visual art, and filmmaking.
